Alright, so this is a FIBER crafts blog, but today’s post is of a foodie variety? It was a lovely, chilly Sunday today. Perfect cookie-baking weather. So, I couldn’t resist! I pulled out a favorite recipe…frosted sugar cookies. The glaze-style frosting sets up in minutes to allow handling. Though my recipe calls for almond extract for flavoring, you can substitute another favorite flavoring for taste or if you have nut allergies, you may also want to leave out the almond.
Generally, I make the glaze and then divide it up into smaller cups so that I can add food coloring for decoration. Recipe will frost about 3 dozen average-sized cookies. Hope you enjoy!
